Independent Schools of New Zealand 
Independent Schools of New Zealand is a group of 43 innovative and successful independent schools, educating over 25,000 young students each year. These schools range from pre-school to year 13 and provide either co-educational learning environments or provide for boys and girls separately. Some are newly established and some have now celebrated over 150 years of developing fine young New Zealanders.

Tertiary Education Union NZ
Our union represents the interests of more than 12,000 workers employed in the tertiary education sector across New Zealand. The TEU is the main union in our sector. our membership includes teachers and workers employed in all occupations in universities, polytechnics, institutes of technology, wananga, other tertiary education providers and allied organisations. It was formed this year from a merger of AUS and ASTE.

Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education is the Government’s lead advisor on the New Zealand education system, shaping direction for sector agencies and providers. In the early childhood and schooling sectors we have responsibility for strategic leadership, policy development and has a substantial operational role. Our role in the tertiary sector is focused on leadership and setting direction, stewardship and governance and monitoring and evaluation. The Tertiary Education Commission and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority have a more direct interface with the tertiary education sector.

Independent Education Union of Australia
The Independent Education Union of Australia (IEUA) with a current membership of 64,975, is the federally registered industry union representing all employees working in non-government schools and institutions across Australia. Included in its membership are principals, teachers and various categories of clerical, administrative, educational support staff and school services officers employed in primary and secondary schools; and teachers working in some private pre-school settings, Life Education Centres, business colleges and private English Language colleges.
